Il dolce far niente," the sweet art of doing nothing, is an Italian saying that embodies our mantra of "think less, enjoy more." In life, we must take moments to fully detach ourselves from the often imaginary rat race (metaphorically speaking, the hamster wheel) that we have built for ourselves, to enjoy a moment without anxiety, stress, and external pressure. For some, it is doing nothing in the sun; for others, it is reading a book. Whatever it may be, we all deserve some more "il dolce far niente" time in our lives.
